In an interactive live art event, the two artists Verena Kandler and Annett Wagner creatively combined the Festival motto “People – Profit – Planet.” Together with all visitors, they created an upcycling artwork from rescued materials over the course of the day.

Everyone was invited to be part of the artistic process.
Rescued materials were given a second life that inspires.
Here 1+1 was more than 2, because many ideas and hands merged into a unique artwork.
As an upcycling artist, Annett Wagner shows that exclusive art does not live from material but from idea and expression. Business cards instead of canvas is her motto. On surfaces of used scrap paper, she paints urban landscapes in which nature and architecture merge to capture the harmony of opposites. What others often ignore is for her the occasion for a change of perspective.
Verena Kandler is a visual artist and art educator from Munich. Her artistic practice follows a cross-industry and participatory approach. Her vision is to bring together a multitude of different people, perspectives, and industries. In collaboration, art emerges that makes personal values, visions, and strengths visible. From seemingly useless objects or material remnants, the artist develops unique collages and new perspectives on the questions of our time. Her artistic offerings include live art, exhibitions, and workshops.
